ABA Therapy & EIDBI Services for Twin Cities Families

BCBA-led center-based therapy for autistic children, ages 2–10, at our Brooklyn Park clinic. Medical Assistance and EIDBI welcome.

ABA therapy teaches skills by breaking them into clear, learnable steps

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy approach that uses systematic instruction to help autistic children build communication, social, daily living, and learning skills — working at each child's own pace, in the settings that matter most to your family.

Every skill is broken into manageable steps, taught with encouragement, and measured so progress is always visible. The goal is a child who is more independent, more connected, and more confident.

Deep dive: What is ABA therapy? A complete guide for parents

Evidence-based since the 1960s, now the standard of care for autism therapy under Medicaid

ABA is reviewed and endorsed by major medical bodies including the American Psychological Association and the US Surgeon General. Minnesota EIDBI funding specifically covers ABA as one of its core intervention models.

For families navigating autism in the Twin Cities

We work with children ages 2 to 10 who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We also support children with related developmental conditions when referred by a qualified provider.

Our approach is strengths-based and autism-affirming. We build on what your child can already do, and we work alongside your family, not around it. Every therapy plan (called an ITP, or Individual Treatment Plan) is built specifically for your child.

For many Twin Cities families, the path to therapy starts with a CMDE (Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Evaluation) to qualify for EIDBI funding. We can walk you through that process even if you're just starting out.

Not sure if your child qualifies for EIDBI?

The path to EIDBI funding starts with a Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Evaluation (CMDE). We'll help you understand what it is, who performs it, and how to take the next step — even before you start with us.

Every therapy plan starts with your BCBA — and so does every session

Your child's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs the therapy plan, trains the team, and reviews progress data every week. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) deliver daily sessions under that direct BCBA supervision.

Intensive ABA therapy is typically 20–40 hours per week. That intensity is what drives meaningful progress — but the exact schedule is set by your child's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) and the hours your EIDBI benefit covers.

  • BCBA-designed plan

Every Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) is authored and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

  • 20–40 hours per week

Typical intensive schedule. Your child's ITP determines exact hours based on their needs and EIDBI authorization.

  • At our Brooklyn Park clinic

Every session takes place in our dedicated therapy spaces — a structured, consistent environment designed for focused learning.

  • Progress measured and updated

BCBAs review data regularly and adjust the plan as your child grows. Therapy follows the child, not a fixed script.

EIDBI and Medical Assistance accepted

Every family served through EIDBI is enrolled in Minnesota Medical Assistance. We accept Straight MA (fee-for-service through the state), HealthPartners PMAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield PMAP, and MA TEFRA — all forms of MN Medicaid that cover EIDBI services for qualifying children. Our intake team will verify your child's eligibility before your first session.

This is one of the reasons families choose Neurolink Academy: many ABA providers in the Twin Cities do not accept Medical Assistance. We do, because access to therapy should not depend on which plan your family is on.

This team was very communicative and professional with me and my child. They really tried to teach my child better ways to express needs while keeping everyone safe. They worked with our whole care team and they definitely did not leave us hanging. There really needs to be more centers like this.

Serving the Twin Cities metro

Our Brooklyn Park clinic serves families across the Twin Cities metro. Transportation partners help families in Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, and Washington counties reach our center.

How center access works

Every city links to local details: drive times, routes, and how coverage works where you live. Center-based sessions at our Brooklyn Park clinic.

Starting is simpler than you think

Five steps from first contact to first session. No insurance research required on your end.

  1. Contact us

Fill out our short intake form or call us directly — about five minutes. To check eligibility, we’ll need your child’s name, date of birth, and insurance card.

  2. We verify your coverage

Our team confirms your insurance and EIDBI eligibility on our end, then a short intake meeting — in person or by video — covers paperwork, policies, and a release of information.

  3. Complete the evaluation

A licensed evaluator assesses your child's needs, and we help you gather supporting records. This required step confirms EIDBI qualification and informs the therapy plan.

  4. Review the therapy plan

Your assigned BCBA meets with you — in person or by video — to walk through the individualized therapy goals before sessions begin.

  5. Begin therapy

First sessions start at our Brooklyn Park clinic, matched to your child's schedule and goals, delivered by a behavior technician and supervised by a BCBA.
